Movebank Data Repository Depositor Agreement

Thanks for your interest in publishing your data in the Movebank Data Repository! The purpose of this agreement is to collect information needed to initiate a submission.

Your data will be reviewed within Movebank by a Repository curator, in association with one or more written papers, reports, or manuscripts describing the data, to ensure that data are correctly imported and fully documented. After the review is complete, files are downloaded and published as a data package in the Movebank Data Repository. For more information, please see the Submission Guidelines, answers to common questions, and a description of how the Repository relates to Movebank.

Please be aware that the review process can take time, allowing us to work with you to archive your data in accordance with FAIR Principles. We will review your submission, and may need additional information from you, before providing a preliminary DOI and recommended citation to include in manuscripts. To minimize review time, please make sure you have followed these best practices for preparing your data.
