QuestBot Study - Appointment Booking

Dear Participant,

Thank you for your interest in our study "QuestBot" at the WortSchatzInsel (Göttingen Center for Language Acquisition).

What to expect: In this study, we investigate how people ask questions, search for information, and remember content from a conversation with an AI-based system. During participation, you will interact with a social robot, to which you can ask spoken questions on non-personal topics — for example, general knowledge questions or everyday questions out of curiosity. After the conversation, you may be asked a few short follow-up questions about what you remember from the interaction.

Key information at a glance:

  • Duration: approx. 45 minutes (breaks possible at any time)
  • Location: Psychology of Language Lab, Historische Sternwarte, Geismar Landstr. 11, 37083 Göttingen
  • Procedure: exclusively spoken interaction — no medical procedures, no physiological measurements
  • Compensation: 0.75 participant hour or €10.50
  • Data protection: All data will be pseudonymized and processed in accordance with the EU GDPR

Participation requirements:

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Normal or corrected hearing and vision
  • No known neurological or psychiatric conditions

Your next step: Please enter your name and email address on the following page and select a suitable appointment. After booking, you will receive a confirmation by email with further details.

You can withdraw your participation at any time without giving a reason.
