Please note that we recommend appropriate prior knowledge for the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning certificate. If you are unsure, please contact the programme coordinator for detailed advice. Further information can be found on the programme website.

Please note that for the Practices of Sustainable Chemistry certificate, chemical knowledge from the professional field and/or higher education is recommended.

Please also note that the courses are held in English. English language skills with a minimum level of TOEFL 6.5 are recommended.

  • TOEFL internet-based test (minimum score of 92)
  • IELTS test with minimum score of 6.5 (IELTS academic training preferred)
  • CAE/CPE (minimum level C1, Grade B)
  • TOEIC (4 skill test / minimum 720 points in listening and reading / 310 points in speaking and writing)
  • Equivalent test of proficiency in English (in individual cases only)
  • Documented previous full-time work positions in an -English-speaking country of at least 6 months
  • One semester of full-time studies at a university taught exclusively in English (abroad or in Germany), which was completed by successfully passing the required examinations
  • As a native speaker, please upload a scan of your passport.

Important information

Your application can only be processed for the current admission procedure if your information is complete and if it is received before the application deadline. This is published on the course website. Applications received after the deadline are automatically assigned to the next admission procedure.

Please note that all study programmes offered by the Leuphana Professional School are fee-based programmes. The fees for participation without enrolment and CP acquisition correspond to the tuition fees listed on the website of the respective study programme. 

Please also note that as a certificate participant you do not have student status and therefore cannot benefit from certain advantages (e.g. student discounts). At the same time, however, you save on the semester fees and only have to pay the tuition fees for your continuing education programme.

The data protection regulations of Leuphana Professional School apply to this application.

The application for participation in the certificate does not guarantee participation. The team of the selected certificate programme will review your documents in the next step and contact you if necessary. You will receive a binding acceptance or rejection of your application from us in good time before the start of the respective certificate programme.
