Application for financial support from the Qualification Fund for a Publication Advice at Leuphana (Postdocs)

Dear Applicant,

With this digital form you can apply as a postdoc of Leuphana for financial support for advice on the publication strategy of a journal article or monograph by an external person from a university or research institution.

This funding measure can only be approved once per person. In the event of the proven publication of a journal article or monograph that was funded by this funding measure, the funding measure can be approved for a maximum of one further journal article or monograph. 

Please read this page and the funding guidelines for the Qualification Funds carefully before you start filling in the digital application form.

Please note that you cannot save an intermediate status of the digital form.

Therefore, before you start filling in the digital form, have the following documents ready as pdf files so that you can upload them at the end of the digital form:

• An informal confirmation of your research field by the professoral head/supervisor of your place of employment or postdoc scholarship
• The external person's publication list with explanations on the assessment of the journals or publishers, why they are considered to be high-ranking in the respective subject, including the highlighting of five journal articles or two publishers and the indication of the impact factor for the journal
• The rough version - or alternatively cover sheet, abstract and table of contents - of the journal article or monograph
• A letter of justification on the quality of the advised journal or publisher
• An overview with the dates of the planned meetings with the external person
• Additionally, in case you have been funded for this funding measure before:
  • a proof of publication of the article or monograph funded by this funding measure

If you do not currently have any of the above documents, you can submit them by e-mail (gradschool.qf@leuphana.de). You will receive further information about this from us by e-mail after you have submitted your application via this system.

Your application will only be deemed to have been submitted once the receipt has been confirmed to you by e-mail.
