Digital Collections - How Does a Collection Become a Digital Knowledge Space? (Nov 10, 2026)

How Does a Collection Become a Digital Knowledge Space?

On November 10, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Rosensäle, the Digital Academy at the University of Jena invites you to the second event in the “Digital Collections” series: “How Does a Collection Become a Digital Knowledge Space?”

Selected collections from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities meet approaches from the Digital Humanities. Together, we will explore how collections can be digitally documented, connected across different sources, and made accessible for new forms of scholarly research and use.

The event series invites participants to explore the University of Jena’s diverse collections, discover new digital possibilities, and collaboratively develop perspectives for their future use.
