ELLIS UnConference 2026 - AI for Earth and Climate Sciences Workshop

This workshop, organized by the ELLIS Research Program Machine Learning for Earth and Climate Sciences, led by Prof. Gustau Camps-Valls and Prof. Markus Reichstein, brings together researchers from computer science, Earth system science, and related fields to explore how AI-driven methods can address pressing environmental challenges. The programme combines short expert framing contributions with student-led research presentations and open discussion.

You only need to fill out this application form if you wish to contribute with a research pitch talk and/or poster.

The first application round will close on 25 October 2026 AoE, and we will review all submissions after the deadline and inform you about the outcome until 30 October 2026.
