Max Planck Law Mentoring Programme 2026-27: Application Form

The Max Planck Law mentoring programme is designed to draw upon the experience of alumni to support early career researchers in their professional and career development. Mentors and mentees are expected to attend an online induction meeting, agree on goals for the mentoring relationship and schedule regular meetings (approximately every 4 to 6 weeks over max. 9 months).

We invite applications to participate in the scheme as a mentee. The application deadline is Sunday 2 August 2026.

Please note the following on elegibility and participation criteria:

(1) You will be eligible to apply for participation as a mentee in the Max Planck Law alumni mentoring programme if you are currently employed by the Max Planck Society as a PhD student, postdoc, or Research Group Leader, will continue to be so for at least six months, and have passed your probation period.

(2) Participants in the scheme will be selected based on (a) a short statement on the aim they wish to achieve through their participation in the programme, to be provided in a free-text box below; and (b) the availability of a suitable mentor.
