Dear participants,

Thank you for your interest in this research project. As part of this research at the Georg-August-University Göttingen, we, the Chair of Marketing and Consumer Behavior, are conducting a study in the Zentralmensa. The aim is to examine students' food choice.

The first survey should take about 5 minutes.

By completing this initial survey, you will begin your participation for the entire study. At the end of the survey, we will ask for your consent to complete a short daily questionnaire about your visit to the Zentralmensa from Monday to Friday during the period from 29.06.2026 until 17.07.2026. The daily survey will only take a few minutes, but it is of great value to us, as only through your regular participation we can obtain consistent and meaningful data. To ensure that you do not miss any surveys, we will send you a short reminder every day.

By participating, you have the chance to win 150 x €10 vouchers for Mensa credit. Each completed survey counts as one entry. The more you participate, the higher are your chances of winning!

To be eligible to participate in the raffle, you must have eaten at the Zentralmensa at least once during the week in question and completed the survey. If you have already participated in the study, your previous entries will remain valid. Please complete the first survey again anyway.

Notes on the survey:
There are no right or wrong answers. If you find it difficult to answer a question, please choose the answer that suits you best. Please do not use the browser's "Back" button while completing the survey and do not reload the page, as this may lead to the survey being canceled. Please do not enter any identifying information in the free text fields. Please note that multiple entries on the same day using the same device will result in all (multiple) entries being rejected. Only a fully completed survey will be considered as an entry for the raffle. Participation in the survey is completely voluntary and can be discontinued at any time without giving reasons and without negative consequences.
